At Dorson Home Care, Inc. our goal is to help you and your loved ones remain at home, living as independently as possible. Whether you need help for just an hour or two, weekly, or on a daily basis, DHC Inc. can immediately provide qualified, dependable staff to you. An individualized program is developed to meet specific needs. During an initial home visit, a Field Nurse Supervisor identifies the needs of the patient and develops a plan of care. The patient, physician and family work in collaboration to implement and maintain this care plan. Founded in 1988, Dorson Home Care, Inc, a woman owned company, is a small intimate home care agency providing both acute and long-term care in the New Jersey and Georgia regions. DHC, Inc. sought to be voluntarily accredited by the New Jersey Commission on Accreditation for Home Care (CAHC). Their rigorous requirements demonstrate our commitment to highly recognized standards for quality home care. We are particularly attuned to the importance of the patient/home health aide match. We look carefully at the ¿whole patient,¿ to assess those factors that can affect the matching process: the personality of the patient, interests or hobbies, physical limitations and the need for socialization, among others. We strive to ensure the optimal match; Patients who form a bond with their caregiver may demonstrate increased compliance in adapting new behaviors for health and a more positive outlook. Our staff is available twenty-four hours a day.
