General Info

Atlas Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is a locally owned private practice devoted to providing personal and individual care by a licensed professional. We specialize in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation including treatment for muscle strains, ligament sprains, nerve compression or impingement, post-operative conditions, adhesive capsulitis, and post-fracture conditions. Atlas prefers the sports medicine approach for the patient. This approach decreases rehabilitation time by introducing exercises for range of motion and strengthening without jeopardizing the healing tissues. The exercises will nourish joint tissues and decrease muscle atrophy allowing faster recovery of normal mobility and function. We encourage the patient to get involved in their care by providing home exercise programs with stretching and progressive resistive exercises.
