      General Info
      Florida Georgia Blood Alliance, established in 1942, is a nonprofit community blood bank. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., Florida Georgia Blood Alliance comprises 10 community donor centers located throughout northeast Florida, southeast Georgia and South Carolina. It also offers nine mobile units designed to support blood drives at businesses, churches, schools, civic groups, military and community locations. It is a community organization offering a variety of services, such as collection, processing, storing and distributing blood and blood components for transfusion. Florida Georgia Blood Alliance staff operates variety of modern equipment. It also serves Memorial Health University Medical Center in Chatham County and Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort.
