We stopped in for happy hour yesterday. They have a wonderful selection of delicious, small plates. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I went here with my family for the first time last friday. They were packed and there was a little bit of a wait, but the hostess was really nice and kept us informed. When we finally got sat, our server was with us really quickly and we ordered a dozen of the blue crabs. we got them and none of my family have ever had them before but they were amazing! one of the waitstaff had to show us how to eat but it was fun. The food took a long time to come out but I'd say it was definitely worth it. I'd come here again, my teenagers really enjoyed writing on the wall any they really liked the food. I'll lose a star because of my wait- my friends who suggested the place never had waited that long before (were told 25 min but we sat in 15) but we did come at a busy time so no biggy. good time, and the food was good. It was reasonably priced considering the 40 dollars worth of blue crab filled us up. i reccomend getting an appetizer though!

A BIG 5 STARS GREAT!I was raised in Maryland when I was a kid on eating Chesapeak Bay Blue Crabs with Old Bay seasoning and these people have got it down when it comes to cooking them right It was like going home again Thanks!Its good to know my new home in Mandarin has a place to go when I want to revisit the past and eat some good ole blue crabs, mmmmmmmm.

This was my first experience having eaten blue crab and I enjoyed it very much. The staff was very helpful in showing me how to clean and eat them. The atmosphere was amazing and the prices are comparable to the quality you get. I will be back without question. The menu is good and so is the food we had.

Many of the crabs (9 out of a dozen in my experience) are served without one or both front claws. When I asked our server, I was told that the crabs are not guaranteed to come with claws. This is my favorite part of the crab, so this was very disappointing. I mentioned it to the restaurant owner, and she said that the crabs take their own claws off in the pot because they aren't asleep. In any other crabhouse, the entire crab comes to the table (even if it is in pieces). The claws are staying in the kitchen, most likely to be used for crab cakes. I paid over $84 for tonight's meal (2 people!) and I think it's reasonable to expect the entire crab. The owner obviously didn't care enough to make it right, and I think that some more deserving restaurant should get your business.

I am from Maryland. Just moved her in Florida. My Husband loves crabs, so we couldn't amagine not enjoying them after e moved. We searched all over the internet and found this wonderful place. It made us feel right at home. We talk to all our friends and family about finding BLUE CRABHOUSE RESTAURANT. The service was great, the people were always checking to see if we had everything we needed. The waitess MELISSA was great. We have been back several times and taken guest from Maryland. They simply loved it. Service was great, the crabs taste great. I wouldn't recommend any other place in jackonville florida for CRABs.... Keep up the good work..

This was perhaps the worst dining experience that we have ever had. Our waitress appeared very ill and under the influence of medication or she was under the influence of something. The first time we dined at the Blue Crab was not a good experience several years ago. We decided to give the restaurant a second chance and it was even worse. The waitress was incoherent and not at all in tune to her customers. I will have to say that the food was okay - it wasn't great, but it was okay. The owner-manager was very nice and addressed the problem with the waitress to us , but did not take her off the floor. We will not go back and would not recommend it to anyone else. It was an awful dining experience!

If you are looking for a true Maryland Crab dining experience and taste how crabs SHOULD be cooked, treat yourself to a night out at the Blue Crab. The staff is outstanding, the food superb and the atmosphere is just like I remember from living in Baltimore, Hon!
