I received a dermabrasion treatment and was pleasantly surprised. The technicians were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about their services and very gentle with me during my session. I absolutely loved the facial products they used. Most of all, I was very pleased to know that all their products were natural, organic, gentle and available for purchase. I believe this spa center is one of Jacksonville's best kept secrets. Call soon as the word is getting out and their waiting list is only getting longer. Truly their services are comparable to a five diamond spa center. Thank you Heritage

I just noticed that there are about ten glowing reviews in a row from such users as ""thatsuccessfulguy"", ""happygrad"" and ""success"". Funny thing is they're all posted the same day by users that signed up that very day and haven't posted any reviews since. If this tactic seemed like a bright idea to the instructor or administrator or whoever the hell wrote these bogus accounts of the instruction at Heritage do you really want to give these idiots money?

Wonderful facial. I can't say enough about how wonderful the facials at Heritage are. I try to have one every month. The students are every bit as professional as if you went to an expensive salon. I just love to go there it is my thing just for me.

I've been to Heritage for several facials over the past few months, and have always had a great experience.
My esthetician was very knowledgeable about the products she was using and what was needed for my skin type. She had a nice touch, and very accomodating to my needs. I felt relaxed and my skin looks and feels great. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable!

I graduated from this school. Instruction at times was poor, at other times great. I made outstanding connections that secured my job after graduation. I did accomplish what I went there for.
My biggest complaints had to be the front office. Most of them had no idea what they were doing. The admissions people were wrong about what they said, the career services people are useless, and the director dictates that certain things cannot be taught because individuals could do them wrong (example being a student that should never been allowed into the program injured someone so no class was allowed to be taught how to use forearms or elbows).
Most of my instruction was from a fellow student and an instructor that left. Sad to say the turnover is high there for instructors.
Their spa and massage clinic are well thought out and do help to get a student ready for real world experience thou. I still hesitate when people ask me ""Should I go there?"".
Mixed reviews is the nicest way of saying that if they fix the front area, they would probably be easy to recommend.

My first time at Heritage was great! The staff (students)were very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed the facial. The teachers at Heritage must be top knotch, as I would have never known they girls in the spa were still students! Great job. I wil be back for sure. I will also be sure tell all my friends the great deals and exceptional service.
If you are looking to go to school, my suggestion is not to go to a for profit school like this one. When you go in to meet with an admissions coordinator, they sit you down for an interview. They say this is part of their ""acceptance process,"" but the truth is they ask you these questions because they want you to say how crappy your life is so that you will be more motivated to attend school. Basically if you sit through the entire session, they will accept you. They ""say"" they need to talk to the school director and recommend you, but its all BS. This is in place to create a sense of urgency so you will attend school and they can get your money. They are also outrageously overpriced. Their X-Ray Medical program is NOT an X-Ray program and it cost 24K. It's a medical assisting program w/ a BMO. However, admissions will not go into that unless you ask. Therefore, if you don't know the right questions they can get you. When you walk in, the whole goal for the admissions staff is to get you to sign up for school. Half of the instructors don't even have degrees themselves, this is why they are called instructors and not professors. Anyway, you can go to FSCJ for a lot cheaper and have a more valuable degree than going to this school.
I have been to the Heritage Institute several times for a micro dermabrasion and each appointment has been a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is like a spa. All the staff are very courteous and professional. You would never know they are still students.
I would recommend to anyone.

I visited Heritage Institute a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed my visit. The esthetician that I had was very professional and the sevice that I received was excellent. I was not expecting to walk in and have that good of service. The spa was very clean and all in all the service I received was better than any other spa that I have been too. I definately recommend and will recommend Heritage Spa to anyone.
I have had several facial at Heritage and have had my eye lashes and eye brows tinted. The students do as good if not better than some of the professionals I have paid big money to. I have also had two massages there and the students are great. I have recommended and taken five of my friends to get facials and massage and they have come back for repeat appointments. Wonderful service!
