Copperstate Companies was founded as Copperstate Industrial Services (CIS) in February 1995 as a provider of repair, refurbishment and maintenance of industrial equipment. It added Copperstate Construction Services (CCS), CIS Development, CIS Management and CIS Holdings before the turn of the century. Copperstate Companies provides engineers, millwrights, machinists, welders, mechanics and leadership teams to mines, paper mills, steel mills, food processors, chemical refineries, power plants, shipyards and manufacturing firms. Capabilities include design, build, fabrication, repair and installation. Copperstate Companies maintains headquarters in Mesa, Ariz.
