My wife and I stumbled across this great little restaurant while visiting Jacksonville on Sunday 27 May and absolutely loved it!!! The food was delicious (at a great price), the house wine was good, the atmosphere was family, and the service was fabulous. Our server, Maryana helped make this a "must stop destination" again!

It's a real treat to find an authentic Italian restaurant here in Jacksonville (the Baymeadows location is the original and only true Vito's in Jacksonville, the others are imposters). Almost all of the staff is family and everyone is nice and friendly. If you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday night you should make reservations. They have a full service bar. I have not had a bad dish yet. You can not go wrong with any one of their specials. Some of my favorites are the Portabello Mushroom appetizer as well as the Bada-Bing Shrimp or Scallops. All of their soups are home made. For a main dish I love the Stuffed Veal Chop, Veal Osobuccco, any of their steaks, fish, or chicken dishes. And the make a great eggplant dish as well.
